Jess joined the St. Francis Urgent Care Center in Oct 2014. She has been working as a Physician Assistant in various urgent care clinics and emergency departments since 2011. Jess is thrilled to join the St. Francis team and directly serve the Bay Area community that she has been so fortunate to grow up in.

Prior to her work as a Physician Assistant, she worked as an open water lifeguard, emergency medical technician, and a certified athletic trainer. Jess likes to incorporate her previous experience by sharing her knowledge of sport injuries rehabilitation, nutrition, and her philosophy regarding fitness with her patients.

Jess received her undergraduate degree from San Jose State University in Kinesiology with an emphasis in athletic training. She obtained a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Samuel Merritt University, graduating in 2011. Jess is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and Licensed by the California State Physician Assistant Board.

In her free time, Jess likes to travel. She has visited Ireland, Iceland, Korea, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic.
